When will Liquid Notes be compatible with Java 8?
As of this week, Oracle is now pushing Java 8 Update 31 on Windows users. The installer will remove any previous version of Java from the user's system. Re-Compose should expedite the process of updating Liquid Notes to get it running properly under Java 8, lest they want a lot of unhappy registered users on their hands. Prospective new customers will also shy away when they learn that Liquid Notes is not yet Java 8 compatible.
This is an update in response to the conversation earlier.
We have released updates to the Windows versions of Liquid Notes (18.104.22.168) and Liquid Notes for Live (22.214.171.124), which are now compatible with Java 8 on Windows. These versions are also fully backwards compatible with Java 6 and 7, so Win XP users can continue using the software.
