Display of Notes in Liquid Notes

Liquid Notes is equipped with a piano roll that displays notes on a granular level for your MIDI arrangement: each note for a particular instrument is shown in a distinct color, which makes it easily identifiable for the user. Color codes can be adjusted for each instrument, just to your liking.

Any change you make to your arrangement thus immediately becomes visible in the piano roll, which serves as a great tool for education in the theory of harmony.

Here is an example of the piano roll that sits on top of the main control elements:

The piano roll can be adjusted in size, and you may change the zoom level of notes being displayed. The detail of your piece you see corresponds with the detail selected via the zoom bar or in track view.
