Revoke an activation and transfer it to another machine
At times you may wish to transfer a license to another machine, or revoke an active installation on a machine. Usually this is done when you want to switch Liquid Notes to another machine, or have to replace that machine. It can be done easily via the License Manager that comes with Liquid Notes.
Here is how to deactivate a license:
- (In Liquid Notes) Open 'Help' > 'Start License Manager'.
- (In License Manager) In the upper pane click 'Internet De-Activate'.
- Enter your license number and click on De-Activate.
The above requires an activate Internet connection: it will deactivate the license on your machine, and also in the database of the license management system.
Having completed the above successfully, you can then proceed to activate the license on your other machine. Follow the steps in this article to do this - http://re-compose.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/881176.
Should you not have an activate Internet connection available or cannot deactivate because, for example, your hard disk crashed, then please get in touch with our customer support! We will reset your license manually.
