I can get it to work no problems on my laptop, but on my main computer (Desktop running windows 7 64 bit) it crashes ableton9 suite as soon as I drop LN Bridge global on a track. I've disabled all antivirus software, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc.
All of my other max effects work fine, and it doesn't crash when I drop LN Bridge Track on any of the tracks with the clips I want to run through it.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong!
Thanks for reporting this immediately to us.
We have heard from one customer so far who reported a crash of Live and some other problems related to applications from Native Instruments after having installed Liquid Notes. This customer did a complete system restore to resolve the issue with NI's tools, but could reproduce the crash behavior upon installation of Liquid Notes - we are currently awaiting a slot for analysis with this customer, as he is moving house.
The LN_bridge_global should be assigned to your MIDI track only, whereas the LN_bridge_track is supposed to be assigned to each track that contains clips you'd like to manipulate in Liquid Notes. A wrong assignment of the MIDI effects to tracks shouldn't lead to a crash, though.
It would help us if you could send us the log file of Liquid Notes, and let us know the Java version installed on your system. For the log file, see here - http://re-compose.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1407347
Not sure if you are doing anything wrong, we'll have to find out what is causing this behavior!
All the best,
