Adding tension does not work. Where is the problem?

Last Updated: Dec 03, 2013 05:00PM CET
This article provides information about adding tension not working.

Quick answer: You may have to enable Add Tension in settings, or check if your song does only contain single playing notes.

Adding tension in Liquid Notes

Liquid Notes offers an easy way to add tension notes to any MIDI arrangement by simply turning the tension controller knob for the respective chord.

However, there are some preconditions for you to be able to add tension:

  1. Tension can only be added to tracks for which Add Tension is enabled in settings. Find this setting in the ReHarmonize Table.
  2. Tension notes are only added to already existing polyphonies. This also includes passages of two simultaneously playing melody lines. Consequently, adding tension does not have any effect on single playing notes.

Please make sure you check on the above for tension notes to be added!
